Amphitrites Silver Heralds
One of a kind and ready to ship.
Materials: Cast in solid sterling silver and set with boulder opal, london blue topaz, peridot and Rubies.
This necklace is named after the Goddess of the sea “Amphitrite”, in Greek Mythology, she was perceived in her chariot being drawn by sea horses alongside her husband Poseidon. I imagined she would have adorned herself in jewellery just like this design, made by the sirens. Filled with opals from the sky, precious pearls and rubies.
I hand carved & fabricated this design, and cast the larger elements into solid sterling silver. Fine details with seahorses, tiny bubbles and an ornate motif design on a seashell. Further up the chain swim two more herald seahorse’s, set with australian boulder opal, blue topaz, peridot and rubies. On the back, details of a starfish and bubbles complete this complex design.
